'Anime Momotaro' and Our State Capital Field Trip

The first field trip of the year was  so exciting. Our initial stop was at our beautiful State Capital Building.  We walked around  to look at the mosaic, which shows the changing colors  and patterns of the sea around Hawaii on the ground floor and the offices on the second floor. Tenney Theater was where we watched Honolulu Theater for Youth's 'Anime Momotaro'.  The Peach Boy taught us the lesson of showing compassion to others and bullying was not acceptable.

Our Honolulu Theater for Youth and State Capital Field Trip

On Wednesday morning we were so excited to ride the yellow school bus to Tenney Theater to watch a play about Dinosaurs. After that, we walked across the street and toured the huge State Capital. We learned all about the statues, the pillars, and why it is shaped like a volcano. I hope our parents take us there again to walk around.
