Reminder for Parents

Aloha Parents,
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your ohana.  There is so much to be thankful for especially as we watch your children grow.

Mahalo nui loa for your generous canned goods contributions.  The needy will definitely appreciate your kindness.

Arigato for all the empty Campbell Soup cans.  There is a sufficient amount of cans for our upcoming activity.

All the students are really jazzed about the Symbaloo webmix because they can view all the tiles at a glance.  This allows them to simply click and play educational games. Please continue to assist and  encourage them to read. As mentioned in our Parent-Teacher Conference, they have the opportunity to read on a  personalized level through myON Reader as this educational reading site will help improve their writing, creativity, critical thinking skills, etc.

Dates to remember:

• Monday, November 28th - Foster Garden Walking Field Trip Consent Form distributed.  Due date - December 5th.
• Wednesday, November 30th - Book Share due
• Friday, December 2 - Bodhi Day Service, 9:00am.  Please dress your child appropriately for this Temple service.

It must be remembered that the purpose of education is not to fill the minds of students with facts... it is to teach them to think, if that is possible, and always to think for themselves.
