This week we got potting soil, planted some seeds, and watered them. Some of the seeds are already starting to grow into plants. We'll watch them grow big and tall.
My class will be planting seeds after we return from our winter vacation. I already picked up some bean seeds and will save our milk cartons from lunch to plant in. I was very impressed by how much your beans grew in such a short time. We won't see such dramatic growth in our area as there isn't a long enough sunny period yet and plants don't hurry until conditions are just right. We hope to grow some pole beans in our school garden. Can't wait to explore plants again.
